Rio Tinto Visits CBMIE

On April 14, Bold Baatar, Managing director, Sales & Marketing and Marine of Rio Tinto and his team visited China National Building Materials & Equipment Import and Export Corporation (CBMIE). Wu Jiwei, Chief Account of CNBM and Chairman of CBMIE received the delegation and exchanged with them on innovative business cooperation.
In face of new challenges in iron ore market, Bold Baatar stated that Rio Tinto was exploring innovative growth, not only technological innovation, but also innovation in cooperation and business models with partners. Building on excellent relation and cooperation with CBMIE, Rio Tinto will further leverage CBMIE's presence in ports and impact on domestic iron ore market and conduct extensive, deep cooperation in ore bending and technical exchange.
Wu Jiwei believed that CBMIE and Rio Tinto would absolutely see great results thanks to dozens of years' presence of CBMIE in iron ore industry, as well as its brand, fund, resource and professional team, especially successful experience in ore bending.
