Tadao Ando leads delegation to visit Laiguangying Station of Beijing New Voyaging

A delegation of five members, led by Tadao Ando, a world-renowned architect hailed as a "poet in bare concrete", visited Laiguangying Station of Beijing New Voyaging Co., Ltd. (Beijing New Voyaging). The station's leaders and the constructor's relevant staff showed the visitors around.
Liu Chengjie, executive head of the station, introduced the bare concrete supplied for the project of Beijing Huadu Center Art Museum from the incoming control of raw materials of bare concrete, mix design and concrete performance. Ando was satisfied with the bare concrete supplied by Laiguangying Station, admiring Beijing New Voyaging for its excelsior, scientific and precise working attitude. The two sides also exchanged good experience and methods of Chinese and Japanese commercial concrete manufacturers in such aspects as production management, equipment management and quality management.
Subsequently, the visitors inspected laboratories and production sites, inquiring about the measures for bare concrete guarantee during winter construction and signed their names on bare concrete samples.
Following the visit, Ando spoke highly of Beijing New Voyaging's achievements in bare concrete development, expecting it to summarize and popularize its experience in bare concrete application to promote the better and faster development of bare concrete.
