Global Vice President of Votorantim Visits Beijing Triumph

On August 3, a delegation led by Edvaldo Araujo Rabelo (Global Vice President of Votorantim (a Brazil’s enterprise)) visited Beijing Triumph International Co., Ltd. (Beijing Triumph), and was warmly received by Ma Mingliang (Vice President of CTIEC, GM of Beijing Triumph). This was another important communication on deepening cooperation between the two parties after the CNBM’s delegation visited Votorantim in the end of 2012.
In the talks, the two parties respectively introduced their recent developments, forecasted and analyzed present situations and prospects of the China’s cement market, the Brazil’s cement market and the global cement market, and focally discussed and exchanged opinions on development directions of new technology and new equipment in the cement industry, in depth. The two parties reached an consensus on deepening strategic cooperation, and agreed to give play to the advantages of CTIEC andBeijing Triumphin general contracting and project management through the Votorantim’s wide cement network, jointly exploit the South America’s cement market and the global cement market based on complementing each other's advantages, and provide strong supportsof technology and equipment for Votorantim’s global cement industry based on Beijing Triumph’s research force and complete equipment service level.
Votorantim is a large-scale comprehensive company engaged in multiple industries (power generation, papermaking, food, metal smelting, cement, etc.). Founded in 1936, the company VotorantimCimentos under Votorantim is one of the global top 10 manufacturers of cement, concrete and aggregate, and owns more than 50 cement lines in multiple countries and regions, such as Brazil, the US, Canada and Africa.
After the talks, the delegation visited the exhibition hall of CBMA and State Key Laboratory of Green Building Materials.
