A CEMEX’s Delegation Visits CBMA

On July 8, a team made up of 5 members and led by Dr. D. Zampini (Director of CEMEX Swiss R & D Center) visited China Building Materials Academy (CBMA). Yao Yan (Vice Chairman of CNBM, Director of CBMA) met with the visitors.
Yao expressed welcome to the team, and introduced CBMA’s technological advantages in research and application of cement, concrete and admixture as well as overseas business development of CNBM Zhongyan Technology Co., Ltd, which is subordinate to CBMA. She invited CEMEX to attend the 14th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement to be held in October in Beijing and join in the discussion about development of cement and concrete in the world.
Zampini praised CBMA and the achievements made by CBMA in research of concrete and admixture. He indicated that CEMEX paid high attention to the communication, and expected that the two parties could enhance cooperation in R & D and application of concrete and admixture. Besides, he welcomed Yao to CEMEX Swiss R & D Center.
Prof. Wang Ling (Secretary-general of Concrete Admixture Committee of China Building Material Federation) discussed business development of CEMEX and the present situation of the China’s industry of concrete admixture, in depth with the team, and gave sincere suggestions on the CEMEX’s plan of purchasing admixtures in China. In addition, Wang accompanied the guests to visit the exhibition hall of CBMA and State Key Laboratory of Green Building Materials.
