An Ethiopian Delegation visited CNBM

On October 22, a delegation of cement strategic research experts from Ethiopian Ministry of Industry led by Dr. G.W.Olana visited CNBM. Yao Yan, Vice Chairman of CNBM received the delegation. Wei Feng, General Manager Assistant of CNBM and relevant personnel attended the reception.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited China Building Materials Academy. Yao Yan received the delegation. They visited product showroom, National Key Lab of Green Building Materials and exhibition room. Then a discussion was conducted on the development, technology and market of new building materials and buildings, especially on the concrete technology and environment-friendly engineering.
In the morning, Wei Feng received the delegation and introduced the development of China’s cement industry, overseas cement engineering contracting and pre-fab housing business. Representative from CNBM Engineering detailed the current situation of CNBM’s cement engineering in Ethiopia. The delegation raised questions on cement, new building materials and pre-fab housing and the parties conducted concrete and deep conversation. In future, the parties hope to establish cement industry training center in Ethiopia and cooperate in setting the industry standards.
