CNBM leader meets with Russian guests

On August 5, 2011, Ma Jianguo, vice president of CNBM, met with visiting Andrew Elinson, deputy CEO of Basic Element, Russia, as well as Anton Cherny and Pan Shengjie, business directors of Renaissance Capital, Russia.
At the meeting, the two sides exchanged ideas on corporate development. Ma introduced the group’s research and development, complete equipment manufacturing, international engineering services and industrial manufacturing, and had an in-depth discussion with Elinson about related business such as building material manufacturing, EPC engineering and new housing. Both sides undertook to cement communication and information exchange and seek cooperation in such aspects as technical consultation, engineering services and investment.
Basic Element, one of Russia’s largest investment institutions, sets foot in fields such as metallurgy, electric power, infrastructural construction, real estate, building materials, aviation and transportation. The company owns several plants in existence or under construction in Russia and Kazakhstan, and proposes to build new cement and cement product plants in the next few years.
Renaissance Capital is a Russian investment bank serving new markets, which is engaged in metal mining and energy projects.
